Hellraiser: Revival Is Out: Platforms and Key Details

Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival was released on October 8, 2026, according to Saber’s official support FAQ. The game is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC through Steam. For anyone finding an older announcement this weekend, the release status is the first detail to update.

Saber describes Revival as a single-player, first-person action horror survival game. This article summarizes confirmed release information and the developer’s description of the experience. It is not a hands-on review, and it does not assign a score or make claims about how well the game performs on a particular machine.

A new story built around the puzzle box

In the original announcement on PlayStation Blog, Saber introduced Aidan as the protagonist. His journey involves trying to help his girlfriend Sunny escape, surviving a bargain with Pinhead and confronting enemies linked to the Cenobites and the Labyrinth.

The Genesis Configuration is central to that premise. It is a mysterious puzzle box whose powers can be used alongside melee and ranged weapons. Saber also said it consulted Clive Barker to keep the new chapter consistent with his vision of Hellraiser. That identifies the creative collaboration without turning a developer’s promotional description into a critical verdict.

The first-person perspective and solo structure are useful distinctions for prospective players. The announced experience is organized around one protagonist’s story, with weapons and supernatural abilities contributing to survival.

What the developer revealed before launch

A July developer diary names two enemy groups: the Scarlet Church and the Unworthy. The Church is a cult seeking contact with the Cenobites. The Unworthy are creatures drawn to the Genesis Configuration as a possible route to redemption.

The diary also describes using weapons and the box’s powers together. These details explain the combat premise, but they do not establish how balanced or varied the finished encounters are. Readers deciding whether the game suits them can watch official gameplay footage alongside the release information.

Platforms, demo and physical editions

Saber’s launch FAQ lists a Steam demo and says the full game can be played without an internet connection, while recommending a connection for patches. Its estimated playthrough length is around eight to twelve hours depending on playstyle; that is a developer estimate, not a measured completion time from this article.

There is also a date distinction for Nintendo owners. Although Switch 2 is listed among the available platforms, Saber says its physical retail edition will arrive on October 30 and uses a game key card. PS5 and Xbox Series X|S physical editions are described as discs.

The FAQ says patches are expected for issues found after launch, with no plans for future DLC or content updates at the time of the statement. Treat that as the currently published plan rather than a permanent promise. For purchase decisions, confirm your platform and edition on the relevant store, particularly if you want a physical copy.
